Thanks to AjiJoe, Ratdz, and orangehero for the seeds. They hooked me up for this SuperHOT season! My 160 plants are bountiful! Happy to finally get to pick some this morning!

The 4 red ones from 3-5 o'clock are from ajijoes habanero mix. I was curious about them. They resemble a scorpion to me but I didn't grow any red scorpions to compare it to. Thats why I put them in this picture. Aso the peach colored ones are Peach Scorpalokia. Yellows on top are Yellow bhuts, red bhut in the middle, and 3 yellows on bottom are bonda ma jacques!

I hope you can give us a tasting repot on the peach scorpalokia's. I am growing them too but won't have pods till august or september. Really looking forward to trying them and would love to hear what you think about them.

Beaglestorm I will definitely review them for you. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I am really new growing these superhots. I've only grown bhuts and last year was the first year growing those. Now I have a pepper forest full of different supers.

Yeah Joe I got the bonda ma jacques from ratdz I believe. The yellow bhuts from orangehero. The red bhut and peach scorpalokias were definitely from you! I'm debating on letting my wife video me eating a peach scorpalokia. Let me give it a little more thought! It would be my first video.

the red ones look like sweet habanero

you can tell because they have almost no heat at all if there hot than there most likley something else

please give it thought but please let me know if you go ahead with it

the peach scorpalokia is quite hot and the tasle is good too

i have tons of peach habalokia seeds also

the peach scorpalokia are dwindling i have almost none left there good too

thanks your friend joe

Peach Scorpalokia...? WTF is that?

By the name I would guess a peach-colored Trinidad Scorpion/Bhut Jolokia hybrid, but seriously though... is there any info on this cultivar? I've never heard of it before. Sounds like it could be interesting.

And by the way... has anyone tried the Yellow Bhut Jolokia yet? I've heard some bad things about it (hybrid vs. mutation, etc.) and not much when it comes to actual taste/heat tests.

ajijoe would probably know since he gave you the seeds, but they look a lot like Tasmanian Habaneros to me

Ajijoe, I tried the peach scorpalokia today at lunch. Nobody was home so I figured it was a good time eating this much of a pepper like this. I quartered it up and removed some of the seeds but not all. I ate one of the top 1/4 pieces and at first it had a nice sweet taste almost like a fruit sherbet but not that sweet. No pain for about 4 seconds and then it started to hit the back of my toungue first then my whole tongue was on fire. Then all around the inside of my mouth. That all settled down while the last of the pain went to the roof of my mouth which was pretty neat really. After about 6 minutes the burning had decreased significantly and was left with the aftertaste of the sherbet like flavor from the get go and a nice rush!

I can see where the addiction comes from now. I haven't eaten that much of a severely hot pepper before but I handled it pretty damn good I believe.

Also joe I tried a piece of the one you thought was a sweet habanero and it was pretty hot so I think it may be a tasmanian. Sure does look just like it and definitely hot.

UltraZ the peach scorpalokia is something I believe ajijoe and his friend have been trying to cross and get stable but not positive. He'll have to tell you more. I haven't done a comparisom yet of the red bhut vs. the yellow but definitely will do that.
