Looks really good!!!! What does it mean when you say sauce was 60% + peppers? I'm knew to all this.
it meant that 60% or more of the sauce is fresh peppers. very little vinegar and other indredients. i wanted the peppers to come out strong and fresh

need a reviewer? Looks good...
I will be sending a bottle to John for a heataddicts.com review. i will keep you in mind for future batches. not really looking to market this one but it was fun to make and will be twice as fun to eat.

Too many people jumping on the 'reviewer bandwagon".
The whole point of doing a review is so that the rest of us know what we can expect whe WE BUY IT.
Cholulah, Tiger Sauce, Tapatio, to name a few examples are commercially available for purchase by all.
Why would I read a "review" of a sauce that I cannot aquire?
Unless Jerret has 5000 more bottles somewhere, and will be selling comercially, then I am wrong.

no 5000 on hand here, just a hobby sauce. only reason for sending it to another reviewer will be my own personal reasons. i agree with you. i dont read or watch reviews for sauces i have already tried(unless its stupid hot) and certainly dont watch a review for something i can not buy. unless there is some sort of comedy or entertainment in it then what would be the point.

i will add that not all reviewers are going for a profesional culinary review. personally i like to be entertained.

Never done myself but you could click on edit in your first post and edit the title. If not, pm one of the mods, they can usually either point you in the right direction or change it for you.

Nice looking sauce.

When I see chile verde, I automatically think tomatillo's but I see you've amended the name to reflect more of a hot sauce.

Cool.

Habs and bhuts should make it plenty hot.

and hot it is! hottest green sauce i have ever tried. has a really fresh cilantro, onion and serano flavor, but the hab and bhut take over quite quickly. was really good on the chicken nachos we had for dinner tonight.

you are right i meant to say green chile sauce. verde being green i thought it to be right. im no culinary expert just a hot sauce loving freak :)
I understood it as you meant it "green hot sauce", but maybe that's because I often use the word chile to mean hot sauce not just the pod itself.

chile verde is usally made with green chile tomatillos and prok shoulder. So that's what i assume it is when i hear the name also.
