Thanks Paul, I plan on setting it up at my folks place....2 miles away.
Better sun and more space, we each will use one side with double rack system in place.
Actually thinking on getting the 6x8 as well but next yr. This one will be here at home if I do get it.

I will mount the 10x12 on PT 4x6's, anchored to pier blocks buried below grade to keep the metal base off the ground and from rusting out.

*I will have to see about the camp out. Very busy time for me, but I am very interested in trying to make a showing this yr.
Most likely a day visit like a Saturday, pack a sleeping bag just in case.

Sunday morning and signs of life.

The late season Purple F6 container has one tail :dance:

so it's good to see there is some viable seeds most likely.

I noticed this little girl reaching for the top....opened it up and all 3 seeds have tails.
Last yrs Pepperoncini saved seeds.

So what do you use to lower the Ph in your watering solution? Mines way high (8.0).

Sounds great - the 4x4 PT worked well for my 6x8 greenhouse, but you may need those 4x6's for the larger size you have. I anchored the 4x4's with some short fence post driven into the ground and attached to the 4x4 with pipe straps. Pics below. I've had zero rust issues after 11 years.

Now that's a great idea. Was thinking of attaching concrete pier blocks with saddles then bury them at grade and fill with rock like yours.

I have access to fence pipe as well. I like your set up alot.

The 4x4's are on top of about 3-4" of gravel. The little unit
has been very solid and stable. Wind gusts of 40+ with no
real problems. A panel did suck out once in a strong wind,
but I happened to be standing there and retrieved it right
away. Blew into the neighbor's yard! I think I didn't have the
clips spread out enough on that panel for some reason. That
was the first year, and haven't had any problems since. Has
handled 3-4" of snow and freezing rain with no problems.

Quick pic update....still very early for my little guys.
Dome is now set at open to let vent slightly and reduce humidity as I seen fit.
Plugs kept moist with H20 and Clonex solution fron bottom feeding of plugs.
2 gals h20 to 60ml of Clonex seedling nutes. Ph was brought down to 6.3 after mixing H2O and Clonex.

Pepperoncini's are doing great. :dance:

Waiting on the Rocoto's, but that's normal..maybe next week?

Red row of labels....except the Dolma which was put into plug this morning.

Tristan's F6's from PaulG...great germination rates :dance:

The GT Brainstrain popped a couple so far and looks like one more ready to emerge.

Both Goats weed I brought indoors and now in full flower.......Might just leave them indoors permanently, still undecided.

Good Progress Dan...what are you using as your germinating medium...is that rockwool?
I bought some Rapid Rooter from Amazon...kinda pricey but seems to do the trick will see...100/25 bucks..with s/h included.
R wool is cheaper ..never used either before!

Yes, plugs will go into Fox Farm "Ocean Forrest" in small pots once i get roots growing out of the plugs.

Then into the garden beds and pots with a composted nursery mix of steer and chicken manure as an amendment to the existing soil from last year.

Hi Sandy,

Yep, rock wool for me. 45 1.5" x 1.5" rockwool plugs here cost me 9.99 from the grow shops.

Those round plugs are new to me and in a bulk grab box for ,25 cents each If I remember right.
so 45 of those is 11.25

It is a great medium for sprouts, love how I rarely ever see helmet head using rock wool, and I like how it hold moisture and nutes.

The wicking effect seems much better that soil as well.

TY for info., Dan....I will check around here & see if the have Rockwool plugs...& do a Rockwool versus Rapid Rooter test.
It seems to be working great for you...& its not as costly.

I will look forward to that test....I have had 3 disasterous attempts with rapid rooters.

No Idea what I was doing wrong...then switched to rock wool and BOOM!

Did you notice the Guyana Tragedy and Sh. Yellow Tobasco seeds sprouted. :dance:

My GT sprouts got cooked last yr and died...Being very careful with them this yr.

That GT is a lovely pepper & the plant itself ain't too shabby either.IMO ...its one of my prized pepper & plant.

You know what Sandy....I had one plant last season that had no label.

I put it in with my cucumbers and eggplants last yr.

I'll be damned if it wasn't the same as your pic above. I labeled it as an unknown aji jobito once dried haha.

It's a great pepper, it did have a lot of green pods on it before pulling it in Oct because of my late season plant out.

I dried them all, have not tried it as a powder yet.

I didn't save seed either, so very cool to see what it is and I can save seeds this yr
