Not just meat curtains but MICROWAVE BACON MEAT CURTAINS!

I shan't reveal the source of this pic to protect the innocent but some of y'all know person who might have done such a thing.

Is it the most disgusting thing you've ever seen on the interwebz or is it full of interwebz awesomenessess?

Well, this isn't the "confessions" thread, but I'll admit to doing something like that myself. No curtains, mind you, but I've definitely microwaved bacon before. Doesn't happen often (maybe once every 2-3 years), but it's usually a day when I have this weird I WANT BACON NOW thing going on, but I need to leave right away for something like meeting with a client. In other words, I really don't have time to make bacon, shouldn't even consider it, but hey - the microwave works in a pinch when you should be rushing out the door. This would NEVER happen on a weekend at my house, of course, as that would be bacon blasphemy......

One of the many, many, many beautiful things about bacon is its versatility. While I prefer it fried in a skillet, it still tastes pretty great in the microwave too. The main reason I don't microwave bacon often is that I'm usually going to be cooking something in the residual bacon fat in the skillet when the bacon is done.

Carmelised onions, bell peppers and fresh or brined jalapenos. Yummy. Or a griiled bacon and cheese sammie.

Wow that rocks!! It's not going to get too crunchy, but I like my bacon a bit on the limber side. When it's just right you can wrap it around just about anything to improve it's flavor!

Why does it not surprise me that PMD is behind that. Fool. While I have, as G said, microwaved bacon in a pinch, if you are going to all that fuss to use an apparatus like that, put it in a pan man!

Fool? Affirmative. Comedy gold? Absolutely.
