Today I got to hang out with AlabamaJack for about 45 minutes. It is my first season trying this hot pepper stuff out and I was having very little success getting anything started. I found out he only lives about 45 minutes from me so I decided to contact him and see if he had some plants to spare so I could at least get the hang of taking care of a couple of plants for experience for next season. Boy did he ever have enough plants. After today I can truly say I have seen the promised land and it is glorious!! He was super hospitable and seemed to take great joy in explaining his successes and passing on tips of the trade to a rook such as myself. AJ, if you read this, I just want to thank you for your time and allowing me to pick your brain a little bit. And to everyone else, do business with this guy, although I'm sure most everyone here already knows this. Anyways, that's my two cents.

Congrats to you. If I ever get down that way to visit my dad, I might have to give him a call and meet the legend myself!

appreciate the accolades Ryan, but man, remember it was here I learned most of what I know...it really embarasses me that you guys call me a master and all of that but I am just a man that likes to grow his peppers...Potawie, Silver Surfer, HawaianAl, cmpman, billyboy, hippy, bentalphanerd, just to name a few are people that have helped me with growing issues and I am deeply indebted to them...
anybody can do it if you put your mind to it...reading and gaining knowledge is the key...
and I have said this before...if any of the THPers are ever in my area, there is an open invitation to visit...
and paulky...I actually kinda like that...
