breeding Minimizing Cross Pollinating

ok so i found some interesting details.
  • Hydrophily - pollination by water.
  • Entomophily - pollination by bugs.
  • Anemophily - Pollination by wind.
It appears that not all plants are likely to be capable of all types. some plants pollen are more suited for entomophily, and not anemophily.

If you are gonna keeps the seeds for yourself, then just take the chance and leave your plants be. The odds are they will self pollinate and you will get true peppers. If you plan on giving them away, trading or selling them, then yes take apporpriate measures to ensure isolation.

In The Luxembourg Garden in Paris ("Le Jardin du Luxembourg", famous for it's horticultural school founded in 1809) they bag all the flowers of their apple tree & pear threes (it's very funny to see all these white bags, it must take a while ...)

I guess (just looking at how beautiful the garden is) that the gardeners are pretty skilled people who know what they are doing (probably managing some very old species).

So if you want I can ask them (the garden is just at the corner of my street). I don't know if I will be able to get any answers from them (Parisian people are not always very nice) but I can try (?).
