Cool stuff Carol!

I think the macro mode is my fave part of that camera. (I have the same one) It also takes rather good movies too.

Nice job. :D

those are some great pictures, i'm thinking of overwintering a lot of my plants this year in huge pots so i can have some as big as that hab youve got there

Great pics! I found a small centipede running around in the soil of one of my plants earlier today. Would have been nice to get a pic of it!

how i long for a cam that can take pics up close like that.....*sigh*

My S630 like hers I got used on Craigslist for $40USD a couple years ago, and is worth around $50 now. Only real issue is rather low battery life and it tends to suck indoors in low light. A tripod really helps for sharp macro shots too.

I do understand the dollar difference is pretty high though for shopping.

1 US Dollar = 6.28100 Trinidad/Tobago Dollar
1 Trinidad/Tobago Dollar (TTD) = 0.15921 US Dollar (USD)

Would make it a bit tougher for sure.

But, there's lots of good inexpensive cams out there. I'd rather have a good used cam than a new cheap one.

Panasonic makes nice point/shoot models...just be sure it's got quality glass optics. :)
