music Music file convertor

The interface is very slightly wonky, with some irritating bleeps and bloops and "are you sure you want to do that?" nag screens, most of which can be disabled.
Once you get over those nitpicks, it's high quality, stupid fast, and will convert just about any audio format to any other.
 
It's convenient, too.  Just drag a folder into the input window and it will find all the audio files and add them to the convert list. One drawback is that it can't filter by type, so you might need to edit the list before pushing the Big Red Button. 
 
 
 
 
Well ...

I stopped using it to encode my dj sessions because it:

- would introduce a 'phasing' effect to pure wave sounds
- would occasionally add glitch noises

... it's worth mentioning my experience with it was EDM, not live music ...
