seeds Mutant seedling

Suggests that it is an unstable, kinda like my drunk self atm! Hey Gas where does your wasser come from?

I found a few 3 leaf sprouts today as well. I seem to get quite a few of the double leaves on full grown plants. My favorite is getting siamese flowers that turn into some really cool pods. I have had a triple pod fully ripen out, but most abort before getting big. I had a small pod form that appeared to be at least 4 flowers melded together but it aborted at about a half inch long.

Found this guy the other day and this looks like a good place to post a mutant seedling. I don’t think he’ll make it, and even if he does his roommate is doing better, so he’ll probably be sacrificed, but anyhow he looks cool.

That's pretty crazy! Looks like either a trumpet or a baby bird with its mouth open...We shall call him Horny Bird!

haha, that's a crazy plant, if it looks like it might make it you should just put it in a small pot for the heck of it and at least see how new leaves come and how it develops.. might come out as something cool.. but more likely will die eventually lol.. time will tell

That's crazy. I'd keep it and find out what happens. I have a bhut and a red habanero with 3 cotyleons. Someone was saying this means they are unstable? Is that true? Unstable because it indicates a cross?

not necessarily, just means that the genes are a little messed up.. which is fine really over all for a plant most of the time.. on people it might be a little bit of a different story lol. but I think some might have mentioned it like that, but I haven't had much experience with that so I'm not sure.. but in a biological perspective, it's just a mutation, and in short, sh!t happens :P

Mutations give us variations. They can be good or bad! Genetic errors can be our friend. Seems like a good mutation imo.

I dunno if this counts as a mutant plant, but it sure is confused. It might be a little hard to tell from the pic, but some of the leaves are growing down towards the soil.

It's kinda like that one crazy uncle that everybody seems to have.

So when I got home from work this morning, I found that horny bird burst his trumpet. Looks like he might make it after all, I can see a really small true leaf growing.
