That tomatillo is a gourgous flower. Thought about tomatillos but I'm out of room.

That looks like a nasty pest eatin the roots

Found a white grub today when I dug a new hole for a plant. It appears I was correct that white grubs are the likely culprit.

And from grubs eating my peppers to still finding calapitters eating the mater leaves.

As well as discovering leaves dieing off already.

Moving more pepper plants. Still have another 60 or so to put in 3 gallon pots.

Peppers are so much easier to grow than tomatoes. There are so many things that go wrong with these things.

What is going on now?

How the pepper area is looking today.

The Red Savina Hab is getting scary now. More peppers have begun to set as well and it's about time.

I think this is a Trinidad Congo? I have the forgets right now.

Purple Serrano. I'm thinking it has had slightly too much sun

I've been attracting the attention of neighbors, passersby, a County Sheriff and somekind of County worker. Perhaps a revenuer of some sort.

White Eggplant

The Strain on my Brain. Last I looked at the plant it hadn't even thought of flowering yet.

Found and decapitated a Tobacco Hornworm eating up a CGN 22107 plant yesterday. It was slightly more than 2 inches in length.

I hate those bastards. I like to take them off the plant and put them in a container so the predatory wasps can infect them.

Today's pepper harvest. Top left going clockwise. Red Scotch Bonnet, Trinidad Congo, Uba Tuba, Purple Serrano that is not one, White Bullet Habanero, Datil, Red Savina Habanero.

And now what is supposed to be Purple Serrano. Neither of the plants have peppers that look like Serrano's. I think one is a Purple Jalapeno and the other is unkown.

Today I made some isolation bags for seed collecting later on this year. I swallowed my manly male pride and asked my mom how to use a sewing machine. Of course she was all to willing to show her son some seamstressing skills.

The bags are big enough to slip over a branch and tie off with a twist tie. Im actually proud of myself for making the bags and learning how to use a sewing machine

Wonderful photos !

Thank you. I've been real impressed with the little point-n-shoot Sony I picked up. It is certainly a lot easier to tote around in the garden than the DSLR.

Yellow Trinidad Scorpion,CARDI what an amazing plant

Nylon seed isolation bags. 10" x 14" It seems to be a good size to slip over an entire branch.

Thank you. I've spent an unbelievable amount of time on just these 150 or so plants but it is worth it.

This is yesterdays harvest. The purple peppers are from just two plants.
