I would love to have some input of what went wrong with the above peppers thanks guys your the best.

I'm sorry PW, that sucks!

did they dry out at all?
and what kind of ferts, how much and how often.

They look like the went without water and crisped up.

Synthetic fertilizers can be a bit tricky, if you want I can teach you some of my "hippdy dippy" stuff.

Those were way too tiny to face your heat pepper. It looks like stress. If you leave tiny pups in the heat, make sure to shade them. The leaves do not look like they got sunburned though. Try washing out the roots and re-potting the ones that still have some life and keep them protected from the sun. If you over fertilized, that may have done them in too. MG is fine, if you use it as directed. Sometimes, less is more for the little 'uns!

Keep us posted please.

Yes, we need more info to give you an idea of what could have went wrong. Here's a list of some things that would help to know.

What kind of fertz are you giving them and how often? (NPK ratio's) and if at full strength or diluted?
Are they in the sun all day long and what is the temperature outside? (those black containers can get really hot)
How often were you watering them and when was the last time.?
What kind of soil are you using and did you add any amendments to it?

The first pic looks like damping off root rot, the others ? your garden sortah looks like it needs better drainage and a good tilling, try loosening up the soil around the plants(careful round their roots), I always planted melons and squash on mounds raised about 10" 3 foot round, 6 foot apart.
