I haven't looked here in a while, but it's still a great thread. I'm jealous of the nepenthes and wish that I could grow more of them, but they take up so much room when they take off and maxima, ventricosa and miranda aren't exactly small plants. And my bog garden went to sleep, so my sarrs, half my sundews, some of my orchids, and venus flytraps are out for the winter. I should get into sun pitchers though, as they look beautiful. And Byblis.

Edit: Are you the same Maiden that posts at Terraforums? Because if not, go check that site out.

Yep those are quite big when they turn adults. Tenuis stay very small, even on the vign trip.

Trent, you most likely have to mail order everything. There are many reputable dealers online. And plants ship remarkably well. As far as growing outside where you live you will have to choose wisely. But if you're willing to give other plants the accommodations they need you can grow in AZ.

Will trade corpse flower cuttings for heli when the plant gets big enough to take cuttings from. Which could take anywhere from a few months to a few years.

What's up Maiden. Yes everything is doing great. Z few losses here and there but that's is to be expected. I have new seedlings popping up everywhere. And the greenhouse is a jungle. I'll share some pictures soon. I just got to work. I'm ready to see new ones of your babies too.

Do you deal with Sarracenia? Mine are waking up now and I'm not sure if I should prune them or not to make room for their newer pitchers.

Seeds apparently are kinda bean shaped. And yeah, this one's gonna be a giant. It's a foot tall now and has a second leaf coming up that doubles in size every couple of weeks. Should be three feet tall when it opens.

I always trim my sarrs. Yes most definitely trim the old deal pitchers. I like manicured plants.

My tables trimmed for winter.
The only leaves I left on the plants were the ones that still looked good.
