I've had these frozen pods in my freezer since the early fall of 2015. I used them up to make a delicious hot sauce:
Ingredients:
14 Yellow 7 Pot Peppers
2 Chocolate Ghost Peppers
1 Pint of Blueberries
1 Banana
4 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
1 Tablespoon Kosher Salt
2 Limes
4 Tablespoons of Concentrated Lemon Juice
I threw the ingredients into my Ninja, added a little water and blended to a puree. I then dumped the mix into a pot, added more water and boiled it down for an hour and forty minutes. This was the consistency that I wanted. It was enough to fill 1 ¼ 16 oz mason jars.
It came out a with a very safe 1.9 pH.
This is one of the best hot sauces that I’ve ever made. It is good and hot, with a pleasant sting, but not deadly, with a little sweetness.
