Picture perfect plants Vincent. Some how I've never had very good NuMex production but hope to change that this year. Yours are lookin great.

EXTRAORDINARY!!!

Pristine plants, outstanding photography, and unwavering dedication Vincent. This is one unique thread, which I've enjoyed immensely. Good luck with your chile competition.

Thanks :)

New update.

Starting with NuMex Big Jim.

On Seramis. All 3 peppers are about 12-13 cm. I remove all other buds from this plant.

Longest pepper is on my biggest Big Jim plant (80cm high).

Hey Vincent -

I'm really motivated by this thread! Watching you grow these beauties from a novice position to a point where you have viable plants is so encouraging, and confirms that great results are really possible, even to a new grower...well done!

You obviously love growing things, good for you Vincent. Now that you have pods getting close to becoming ripe what are your plans for them?:):P

Eat them of course

I want to pickle some, make some powders but other then that I haven't really thought about it yet.

We finally have good weather here. Lots of sun and the temps are above 22 Celsius and rising :) Time for a new update

Do you fill the entire pot with seramis or just the top and use it as a mulch? Plants look really healthy!

the entire pot is filled with seramis. I sow the seeds in potting soil. When the seedling has 3 sets of true leaves I carefully shake of the soil from the roots and then I plant them in seramis.

I have considered trying growing plants in seramis. I tried looking for seramis on the net, but cannot find anywhere to buy them. Any ideas on places to get them?
