Talk about dry sinuses, every morning I wake with a bloody nose
Glad to hear it's not just me, lol

Migraine (from dehydration) and a bloody nose is almost guaranteed every morning for me. Especially when the steam from a hot shower hits me. It freakin sucks, haha. I'm sure my pellet stove doesn't help, but the top of the hopper where you fill the pellets doesn't get hot enough to boil water. There's a cast iron tea kettle on there, but it's just for show.

I have forced hot air (and A/C) throughout the house too. My buddy told me they make humidifiers that hook up right to the system. I really have to look into installing one of those. For now, I keep a humidifier on my nightstand, but no luck

Yep, us Floridians hate the cold, and we will bitch about 35 degrees, but we can kick the shit out of others when it comes to handling the heat. I see a lot of people  coming from up north to Florida complaining about 85 degrees with 100 percent humidity, and I laugh. To me that is a cake walk. Try 95-100 degrees with a 100 percent humidity, and doing hard farm work. I can always tell someone from up north, because they start sweating like a pig walking from their car to their house, lol. So indeed it does go both ways. At least I can put on more layers and handle the cold, while the northerners are all about ready to have a heat stroke, while I am hardly sweating. lol.

We got a warm spell next few days, was above freezing today and I think tomorrow is going to be in the 40's. Might hit the car wash on the way home from work  in the morning.

Is your area starting to warm back up now?

Aaron speaks the truth, I can't handle Miami heat.  No fkn way.  We went fishing and it was 85 degrees w 100% humidity at fkn 8am.  I could dig FL, but only if I spent 90-95% of my time there indoors.

Love the state, the people, the fishing.  Cannot abide the heat.  Give me -40 windchill any day, I'll layer up and troop.

I remember this one time in Kentucky on maneuvers, cold snap moved in and froze everything. The 5 ton trucks froze to the ground and the black hawks couldn't fly. They said you have to walk back in lol. We were like 23 miles out.

Opposite in Florida jumped in during the peak of summer, and as soon as the aircraft doors opened it was like a sauna lol.
