Hi,

I noticed this leaf damage on one of my seedlings today:

On close inspection found this little larvae-like thing crawling about on top and I suspect it is what'd been doodling on the leaves.. This is what it looks like under the microscope at about 100x magnification:

Any idea what it is, also how do I prevent such damage in the future?

Thanks

PS: sorry about the crappy quality on the pictures..

I second the leaf miner diagnosis, neem oil or pyrethrins will take care of em. You can also squeeze the leaves at the tunnel and crush the larvae for minor infestations. They usually won't kill a healthy plant. Remove and destroy any badly infested leaves

hey b2b!

Yes I did! :D I followed Scorched's advice - sprayed copious amounts of neem oil on all the seedlings for a couple days and that seems to have done the trick! :)

A Hug!
