Long time chili addict from Wales...Now living in Panama in the mountains with a great climate. Growing season is theoretically12 months a year (Daytime temp of 24-30, nighttime 14-20 year round). Have a lot to learn and with this climate and growing season being a relatively rare phenomenon, it is going to be fun. I tried a couple last year, Fatalii, great results, I would estimate over 1000 per plant, they just kept on coming until in the very hot dry season the plant kinda gave up, but maybe it just ran out of nutrients. I currently have 40 odd varieties as seedlings, have a lot of questions to ask
, hopefully some peeps here can help. All the peppers I have grown so far start flowering as soon as the plant is big enough 5-10 inches. With the Fatalii I took all the flowers off for about 2 months so promote vegetative growth, I was pulling off 10-20 a day. I want to know if this was the right thing to do, and a thousand other things, will be posting in relavant threads. and will keep all abreast of progress. Great forum thanks.
