New growth looking funky?

My 2 cents is that it appears more like Herbicide damage then anything else.

herbicidal damage is new to me, not much of a threat in my area. It would be hitting multiple plants too more than likely.

I have seen this growth on my Black Scorpion, Orange Hab, and Bhut Jolokia both in pots as well as in the ground.

that reads like multiple plants to me.

im sticking with mites or herbicide

Looks a lot more extreme than mite damage. I think it's likely an herbicide like 2,4-D. Any lawn spraying going on nearby?

Well, I have been chopping off all the really funky looking growth, and most of the new growth seems to be alot more normal looking. I am pretty sure the herbicide was at fault here. I'll have to get some new pics. Some of these plants have rebounded quickly, some haven't.
