New S. African variety for you to grow...

I have just placed an order for seeds of the following variety, and I was wondering if anyone on the forum is already growing this plant?

The bad thing is that no matter how much you like it, you'll need to buy new seeds all the time. If it's an F1 you can't save seeds from your own crop to produce more of the same.

Although I understand that we all like seeds to plant the following year, and more importantly to TRADE, if we like a particular plant, we can keep it alive via overwintering or cloning(via cuttings) for a very very long time.

If its an f1, it likely has hybrid vigour and will be a stronger producer than either of the parents. As long as you like the variety, and the seeds are cheap then there's no problem growing them. You can also overwinter or take cuttings/clones if desired as OrigamiRN stated

That's too bad Omri. You keep working on them buddy and hopefully someday they'll get hot.
Haha! nice...
The first pods on the OSE12 plant are hotter than the parents and frankly I thought it'll a little more while. I'll get there, don't worry.

Lookin forward to those Uyababas! But if it's an F1, does that throw a monkeywrench in plan to cross it with the Inchanga? Uyababainchanga?
