Boneless ribeye with sweet potatoes was on the menu today.
 

 

 
..should have let it rest a bit longer though.
Nevertheless it was good and the potatoes were great!I've never had sweet potatoes before,we don't use them much in Greece.What do you guys season them with?I used a mix of evoo,lemon zest and juice,salt,pepper,hot paprika,ground cumin,garlic and rosemary
 
nice, i think you're suppose to let a steak rest for 5 mins? As for the sweet potato, lots of people compliment it with cinnamon and or turn it into fries. I personally don't usually cook with sweet potatoes other than the ones that I grow, and those are more like normal potatoes but slightly sweet, very good for a savory mashed potatoes or hash n such. 
 
I removed it from the grill pan,wrapped it in tin-foil,had a cigarette and then...ate it!Maybe I should have 2 smokes.

If it's that juicy you can cut into it and eat it all in 5 minutes and the steak police will be none the wiser!  Well done!!!
