My name is Ol' Benito. I have been making fresh tasting all natural/organic hot sauce for the last five years. I am a chilihead who loves homemade hot sauces, salsas, dry rubs and barbecue sauces. I am currently getting into different types of wood smoked barbecuing. Our company's mission is to promote sustainable organic farming and participation in local economies. This Summer we are doing a whole bunch of harvest fairs/festivals, farmers' markets and brewfests. You can check out our Summer schedule at benitoshotsauce.com. We sacrifice quantity for quality in that all of our sauces are hand crafted in small batches at a small kitchen incubator in the great state of Vermont. We are currently in the process of acquiring a few acres for an organic pepper farm. I'm psyched to be part of this blog. I have heard great things about it and about the annual Hot Pepper awards.....
