that's what I did the first winter I had it and it worked fine but the second winter I kept it in a bag.  I'll probably leave it in the pot this winter too and repot in Spring

Cool. I had about six of those in hanging baskets and made the dumb rookie mistake of watering them once or twice in the winter when they were not growing.
As you can probably guess, yes, the bulbs rotted. :banghead:
