overwintering Overwintering

Just thought I'd share a few photos of my wintering plants. 7 Pot red, butch-t's, aji amarillo

Made a mixture of .5 mg potting soil and .5 peat moss. These were plants I pulled out of my gravel hydro garden. Gravel is great, they just came right up. They're in my kitchen/dining room with a sw window. Been in pots for about a week now and look, sprouts!

Well so far I've only watered. If they get some good foilage I'll probably give them some food. But I don't want to overburden too soon.

do they go dormant so they need less water? I've never really discussed over-wintering at length since I'm new to chili farming.

These aren't going dormant since they'll be in the house. If they were in the garage or basement you'd water them like once a month. These I'm watering whenever the top soil starts to feel dry.

They're off to a good start.....A month from now you'll start to see the buds forming .......
