This sauce is part of a fairly new "Hot & Spicy" range by Patak's, and it's available at Morrison's in the UK.

Patak's description of this curry sauce is "Not for the faint-hearted, this cooking sauce is our hottest cooking sauce yet! So if you are in the mood for a delicious tomato based curry that will leave your lips tingling -- this is the sauce for you."

I don't think I could disagree more - this was very mild, disappointingly.

 
Just to confirm it wasn't a bad batch. My impression on Pataks Phal was stodgy, bland and not very hot. I've had a couple of jars and put some chili's in the second to try and liven it up a bit but didn't really work well with the sauce.

Best sauce you can get atm imo is Morrisons own brand Vindaloo. Fair bit hotter than Pataks Phal, tastes great and handles been loaded with Birdseye Chili's very well.
