Inca Red loading up with pods. Plant looks
good for the sucky weather. Forecast for the
second half of June looks much better.

@Pepper Merchant - Do you have any particulars
about this variety? It has a great growrh habit and
looks to be very productive.
Very productive, we ended not even picking them late season. They are mild but have a sweet heat on the nose when you first bite into them, I found myself eating them right in the garden when picking other plants.

I use them in a sauce with black pepper and maple syrup I think @dangerbros enjoyed the sauce from these pods.

We are not growing any this year on account of the number of seeds generated last year by them but my mother has a few plants she enjoys at her place. Great for use in pasta.

Hope that helps!

Check out the thermometer on the canopy post :fireball:

100˚F in the back yard.

Had to put movable plants under some kind of
shade for this three-day stretch of 90+ temps.

Shade cloth for some of the others in the big
containers.

Yikes! We had a similar heatwave here… everything pulled through, but keeping up with watering containers at 100F is tiring!

How are your nighttime temperatures?
Same story here. 100˚F again in our yard
today then back to mid-70's to mid-80's.

Fortunately, night-time temps in mid-50's.
Glad to hear everything pulled through in
your neighborhood.

We finally saw a little summer up this way the past few days too, Mr. G.

Thankfully, it wasn't nearly as warm as the PNW's end-of-June heatwave last year
Looks like a little stretch of nice Summer
weather coming for the PNW, Mr. McDog!
Will be nice to have a bit of ‘normal’ Summer
to get the peppers up and running. Your grow
is looking sweet, my friend.

@PeriPeri - I have been slacking on the photo
updates, just too busy with yard work and getting
ready to be away from the garden for two weeks.
I'm glad you stopped by, though :D

If I remember correctly, you were going to send
me a list of any seeds you would like. You are
coming into Winter season now, but Spring will
be there before you know it!

Hey Paul, it sounds like you are run off your feet my friend. I hope the two weeks away are in the form of a well deserved holiday! There will always be time for pics when you get a chance ;)
Hahaha yes you are right. I must get my a into g and send you that list. I must admit, it has been incredibly difficult given the amazing array of varieties you have been growing 😀😉

@PeriPeri - We are taking two weeks off to
go visit our new grand daughter, so it will
be a great 'vacation', Will try to get some
seeds out before we leave, but for sure
first week August.

Hope all is well with you and your family.
Keep the Faith, brother.

All is well thank you. Now that does sound like a super vacation. Absolutely no rush. When you get the chance my friend. Have a fantastic vacation with the family ;)

A little change in plans. We are going to
California more toward the end of August,
so those seeds can be on their way sooner!

Hey Paul, thanks for the update, sounds like the season has been tough so far. Those Aji Amarillo looks fantastic! I love Amarillos... has to be one of my favourite :)
Not the best season, but maybe a nice
Fall will pull it off here in the PNW
I will put some AA seeds in your care
package, Lourrens :D

Still hot, Paul? How's the humidity?
Yeah, buddy, average next three days = 100˚F :fire:
Shade cloth is the order of the day, at least for the
lucky plants

Humidity not so bad, about 30% night and 70%
day, night temps high 50's to low 60's. We are
pretty fortunate all things considered.
