I just read this whole epic glog and have learned a ton! The planning and detail and note-taking… Great work, PaulG!
Thanks for the kind words, @BDP. You must be a
glutton for punishment for reading through the whole
thing :rofl:Sometimes the effort yields great results,
sometimes, meh. This season has been a real mixed
bag, but there are some bright spots here and there.

Good luck with your BDP crossing project!

Thanks! - in my little circle I was considered “the guy who knows about peppers” - but I’m blown away by all the knowledge here and the work and planning you guys put in… Definitely humbled after seeing how you run your grows.

I felt exactly the same way when I first came across
this forum back in 2012. Still do, actually. Always
something more to be gleaned from the threads.

I first came here after noticing that my Google searches
on things pepper always had entries from something
called 'The Hot Pepper' 🙂

Hi Paul. I just skimmed through your thread. Good job as always. Plants looking good. I especially like the looks of that Red Savina. Looks like you'll get plenty of those. Whats in store for them? Sauce? Powder?

Hey, friend, thanks for the kind words. I now have
high hopes for the Red Savina. Probably dry the
pods for storage and powder down the road, and
for some seed stock.

This year has been a bit discouraging in my world Paul, but your GLOG is ray of sunshine as always. Thanks for all the hard work and keeping us informed on your progess. I love to check in and see how your grow is going.

Thank you so much for the kind words, PF.
It's worth the effort if someone else finds it
a bit useful or entertaining.
I'm called the "Chilli Queen" in my small corner of France, compared to you guys I know nothing but I'm learning fast :D
May feelings as well. Sometimes I feel like a novice!

A massive thank you Paul for this phenomenal treasure chest of seeds and the awesome powder. Totally speechless. The luckiest man in Africa. Seeds all pre-soaked and in their new home 😀🙏

Thanks @PeriPeri - I hope they come out as
good for you. The SA sun should be to their
liking! Hopefully your will have a cool enough
Spring to really get them flowering and setting
pods.

Marvelous Paul!
Just had a catch up from page 18, great to see those big harvests coming in.

Also I enjoyed seeing amarillos ripen so fast, by just turning a page 😉 in the real world they sure take their time. Made me want to eat some, now your glog made me want to grow some next season - thanks Paul 😅

I saved a bunch of Aji Amarillo seeds if you are interested. We are having a nice Fall so far, even a week in the 80’sF! So we should have good pod ripening with a minimum of splitting in the dry weather for the near future.
