peppadew "CLOSED"

Where is the hook up? I need "legit" seeds. I cant say enough "legit."   Do I need to order these from Africa?

These are for a friend that im trying to impress, lol.

From what little I know, the fresh pepper tastes nothing like the peppers you buy in the jar. If your friend wants the flavor out of the jar you need to figure out how to marinate the peppers.

I see. That will be his problem.

I grew them last year. They do taste different then the ones in the jar. I took mine and stuffed them with cheese and chili and then stuck them in the oven. They were very tasty. They were bite size.

I got my seeds from windsong. I don't know if he's around anymore, though.
Havent seen him on in a long time.

I have some seeds around here somewhere, I think I got them from Spiceychicken. I just need to find them, let me know, they're yours if you want them

I tried searching everywhere for peppadew seeds, turns out Peppadew is actually trademarked/copyrighted, and the company that owns them doesn't sell seeds.  The closest thing I've found is the Malawi Piquante, which is the same thing just grown in another part of Africa instead of South Africa where the company is based.  got a packet of seeds for a good price from refiningfirechiles.com and I'm gonna grow em out this year, really excited for this one!

I got mine from a 70 year old man from Wisconsin about 3 years ago. Apparently he had family or connections over there.

I got my seeds from him, too.  Haven't heard from him in a couple of years.

The peppers are great de-seeded, grilled, then filled with cream cheese with a few pieces of your favorite hot pepper.

Will be growing them again this year - the plants can get huge!

Huge..... I'm excited I got two young plants going? Looking to get a big yield. Would love to pickle these and stuff. So many options. We sell imported Africano peppers stuffed with feta cheese at my job. They are so delicious.
