red savina or Caribbean would be my guess. but Datil still rocks

Habeneros are not that crinckly. They're usually rather full with perhaps a few vertical lines. Perhaps they're a mix.

most of them are quite alot of wrinkles just not real long pods

IDK, all my Bhuts are kind of round on top and start tapering off towards the bottom. Maybe they're Bhuteneros?

They came off one of 2 plants germintaed from NMSU Bhut Jolokia seed stock I bought and started last year. The first pods off that plant were long and pendulous, the rest have been bent. I don't have any red savinas or Carribean reds growing. I did get some Dominican reds but not till the beginning of this year.

These are from seed direct from NMSU, no middleman, no harvested seeds from a third party, but from the source. I bought the seed from them in May of last year.

This is the NMSU BHUT in dirt with it's first flush of pods. THis photo was taken a month ago.

This the NMSU BHUT in Hydro. This photo was taken last week.

yeah, sometimes I feel like running after, and away from a Datil. They can be hot at times.

How hot are those little bird peppers? I'm about to pop one and record.

enjoy the bird peppers and remember bird can't taste heat.

Ok cut up the bhut and tried it tasted great until the pain kicked in
