raised-bed PepperJam's Raised Bed 2011 Growlog

Awesome, thanks! I've used a hodgepodge of DIG products but hadn't seen that one. Looks great for the beds...

I used this one for my dad's cucumber/pepper/squash bed. It pretty much waters everything at the edge of the water circle it sprays. You can adjust the size of the circle. I think i'll start using these next time.

Summer wasn't too productive, reached over 100's. Now its getting cooler and tons of buds and pods are growing. I hope they get ripe before the frost hits. I've been feeding it with Botanicaire CNS17 RIPE for two weeks now. Looks like its working well. Some plants are over 6 feet tall easy. Since they were planted 1 foot away from each other, the middle plants are really tall. The plants on the border are bushier. Next year i will keep the perhaps 1.5 or 2 feet from each other.

Here's the overrall raised bed shot

Only one pepper tree (red bhut) is doing well in the 5 gallon pots. Two plants have not pods. The brain strain has yet to produce a pod (same in raised bed).

After wind storms, cold weather, the plants were not looking so hot. I decided to prune all the plants in the raised bed. I left only one plant, my red bhut hybrid to keep producing as it is doing really well and cranking pods. I bagged the green pods into brown bags to turn color. That worked really well. Yesterday i made a manga-pineapple-bhut hot sauce and powders out of all the ones that ripened. Here are some pics
