looks like the bottle is covered with foil. It could be a fermented sauce that they just keep adding peppers to and using. anyways that's jmho.

I have a slightly simpler recipe coming tomorrow rather than hanging the bananas for a week. It involves apple cider vinegar and a super ripe( disgustingly black) armful of plantains to ferment.Doug,
That recipe looks like dyn-o-mite! I am positive the results are spectacular.
I'll bet the top quality can only be made in CR as locally ripened CR bananas have a taste
unrivaled anywhere ....IMHO.
