pics Peppers moulding from the inside out? (pics)

Hey everyone,

A little confused why a number of my peppers seen to be moulding from the inside out. I only water after significant leaf droop and generally we have low humidity in our area.

No signs of the peppers being penetrated by bugs or anything else. The moulding seems to happen just as the peppers start ripening and the discoloration seems to start in the folds of the pepper and the stem area stays firm. If left on the plant the stem eventually shrinks down at the plant end and the pepper falls of the plant with the stem attached to it.

That's blossom end rot.  Had quite a bit of that earlier on this season.
 
You can read about it easily in the forums, but I solved mine by a series of cal-mag treatments.

too much Rain or overwatering will cause this also.

Are u soaking them when u water?  Foliar spray with some cal mag, i bet that's your issue.

Looks like it might be BER (blossom-end rot). Are you giving them calcium? Many of us use CalMag by botanicare for this purpose.

I've been battling it all season with the peppers I grew in a self-watering container this year (for the first time).
