food-safety pH meter, tester

Hello,
what kind of pH meters are you guys using for checking pH in sauces? Any links would be appreciated.

I'm looking forward for some universal pH meter, which I could use for sauces, soil, water.

I did some search through the forums, but couldnt find any similar threads. If they exists, excuse me and provide me a link.

If you want to use the same one you'll have to use distilled water with the soil in which case most standard meters will work. The ones you stab in the ground don't work very well and you can't use them with liquid

Just picked up the Hanna.  Hope it works as advertised.

Thanks for the point in the right direction.

Great choice Jeff. I have a Milwaukee but like Hanna better. I have the strips too, but as mentioned, colors of ferment or sauce can "color" the reading.
