I know it doesnt provide enough lumens, thats what I was saying not just any light would work. But when I read your message, I misunderstood it. I thought you were saying that you could use ANY light, but you meant you could use any color CFLs or tube fluorescent as long as they were CFLs or fluorescent.

I am a little red neck and simple where my grow room is in my well house. I have a couple of flourescents and a thermostat heater. This year I even put up some mylar to see if that will help. Its mostly for my seedlings so right now its not running but soon I will post a picture. Its like said before I like to keep it simple.

Here's my hydro greenhouse. I use MH and HPS hid lamps because they are more efficient than fluorescent.

I only use leds this winter so far. I might use clfs if the cold starts to get to me.

how or what are you guys using for your LEDs? Are they working correctly? Interesting. Ive been seeing threads on those.
