Pimenta de Neyde Seeds

I been looking for a purple pepper to go with purple tomatillos to make a nice purple salsa.
How does this one taste?

That purple salsa looks really interseting! I'd like to grow some of those purple tomatillos. I see a trade in my crystal ball. :cheers:

Do your purple peppers, the "Purple Chicana" stay purple when ripe?
 
i grew them and there all heat and very little reward flavor wise,
but it was one of the prettiest plants in my garden with its dark black leaves

That's too bad. I'd get some more seeds from a different source if I were you.
They're extremely flavorful and slightly sweet.

yeah they were a dud
i was told before that they taste good
maybe it was my soil??

Well I've sent you Pimenta de Neyde seeds AND, because I know you're growing indoors, also added some Peruvian Whites. it's a nice compact plant, loaded with hot pods. :)

Agree With Omri i had them from the lady who discoverd the chilli in brazil and must say its in my top 5 favourites and is what a chilli should be beautiful to look at,Productive and has a wonderful taste.
Makes great powder,paste,sauce
