Pinoy your plants appear to be doing great. I would imagine with the Hawaiian soil and consistant amout of rain the plants should grow year round.

Thanx greg, hopefully they grow amd produce year round like my hawaiian chiles, its been rainy for the last 2weeks here good thing is its not a heavy rain that will flood my plants

Lookin' good Pinoy. I like the idea you have with leaving the containers around them. Very ingenious.

Thanx king, gotta save them babies from the wind, hopefully the time they outgrow there cover they will be strong enough to withstand the strong winds

Thanks, Eric, I'll check it out.

Making My Soil Mix For my growing babies hopefully they will adjust to this mix, if not they dead
Hi Eric
Have you had your soil tested yet? The biggest deficiency I had in my soil was potassium, and a lesser deficiency of magnesium. Peppers are heavy magnesium feeders, and I found I got the best results when planting in soil if I included bone meal in the soil amendments. I also added a little "garden tone" fertilizer by Espoma. Cheers

They're sad today...and maybe tomorrow, but a couple days from now they should be happy! No worries on the bone meal. You can work some in later, your mix might be a little hot already depending on what ratio you mixed all those goodies so adding any now would be a bad idea. Keep an eye out for signs of burning for a week or two and if they look healthy just work some bone meal into the surface of the soil a little at a time.

Ditto! I spaded my amendments in when I first tilled the garden, and they mellowed for a few weeks while I waited for it to warm up enough to plant under the hoophouse. The Koreans you started in your ghetto hydroponic rig are really impressive... I didn't have a clue to the scale until I saw your hand in the pic too! Stay green buddy!

well see what happen in couple days, ill put them on the shade for now and only morning sun will hit it, yea those spades are gigantic and they're almost 2feet when i transferred them and that's 42days only, so i decided to let do the stunted Koreans from before

The plants look awesome they will love that combination something similar to what I used. Try using a homemade drip system it will work out better than hand watering and reduce the chances of overwatering. I think is the reason my poddage was delayed until now.

Thanx fernando,i was gonna make a drip system, but all the potted plants has no permanent spot right now, will install after I fill up the ground wit plants and put all the potted ones on place.

Hey, Eric, your starter kit is just rock solid; great results. Hard to
imagine such a big plant comes from such a small space! +1 everybody
on the bone meal. I put some in some of the containers' soil a month or so before
planting out, and those plants seem to be doing very well. I'll do it in all my
containers next season.

Those pot-ups will look like they have been in those root pouches
forever in a day or two. Good work! Enjoy the weekend, brah!
