Plants look great watch with the sun this week it has been hitting hard my rocoto has some sun scald try putting them in some shade especially the little ones.
 
Well for the most part they receive full sun almost all day...Will do an update tomorrow on the progress of my chili plants....

Heres the immature pod on my Memo plant... One of the 7's have flowers that just opened up today.... Pretty excited but i know its along wait till harvest time.....

Thanks Sanarda... Monsters indeed but not alot of peppers yet... Im thinking its due to using buckets... Learn from the mistakes this year to improve on next year right... I've got several spots that I've been looking at to improve the soil quality... Next years plot
 
I don't think it's because you use buckets. It's more the size of them. You started in march and you've got some big buckets. So first they'll grow as large as they can (with a few pods), but when they've reached that point they'll give you more pods then you can handle.
I started my 7 pods in January and they've only just began to give more pods (of course u suspect the weather might be a bit better in California than my home :) )
 
I dont know if its just the pots. Pepper-Guru posted this http://thehotpepper....wintering/ The video is an an overwinter and I think he grew that monster in a pot. If I am not mistaken, it produces lots of pods for him. It could be the size of the pot ??!!????? Anyways, that link is a great guide for over wintering.
