You might remember I lost a package earlier this year when the post office sent it to Hawaii. I got a better one for you. Sent a few orders right before Thanksgiving. One came up missing. Tracking said it left Shelbyville and then didnt get anywhere. As of two weeks after the order was shipped, it was still in route after leaving our local post office. OK, things get lost. I apologized, loaded it up with free stuff, sent again. I happens right?
One of those orders was some seeds I was sending to a real estate agent in Columbus, OH. He is selling a condo that I fixed up for my mother. He had hired a guy to haul off trash and I had to send him a check to pay him back. I included a bunch of seeds and sent it in our padded envelope with our return address. So it looked like one of our seed orders going out.
Today, I got a letter from Shelby Clean Community Program. The letter included that check that I sent along with a note saying it was found alongside Highway 53 by a clean up crew. I ran the tracking code on that package, you guessed it. It left the Shelbyville post office and was never recorded entering any other point.
You know, I ended the 2015 grow season with nothing but praise for the post office. With the exception of the one box that went to the wrong state, I had very little trouble. Then Thanksgiving came and went. Now they are blowing huge flaming chunks.
Thinking it is the one post office and there is another one just as close. Also thinking the 2016 fresh pod season is going to include our letter carrier picking up at the farm and a postal scale for our non flat rate stuff so she can do the same with those.
Am I paranoid to think someone at the local post office is intentionally screwing with things?
