Post Your Ride

So what are the THPeeps driving these days?

Customized hot rod...off road machine...restored Caddy...ragged out piece of shit...

LET'S SEE IT!

Here's mine...and if you look real close...you can see the roof rack windscreen says "LunchBox". 1996 T-10 Blazer 4x4, manual transmission, 2" lift, 31x10.5 BFG A/T's, roof rack with 3 bike capacity & spare, st00pid audio, and almost 210,000 miles.

Before the lights...

and after...

This one is a stump puller. I actually pulled a P.O.S. H3 up a hill a while back. Backwards. ;-)~
B series Diesel. Not available in the USA ( got nearly 30 mpg in the seventies- a huge nono)
It's a frame off I finished about a year ago.
The tires are Costa Rican Firestone ATHD 10 ply bias, only sold here. The engineers at the power company worked with the Firestone-Bridgestone guys to find something for these shitty "roads". Best I've had in years.
The wheels I designed on the puter and had made of recycled aluminum in San Carlos.Dude can make anything from aluminum.ANYTHING.He mostly does 4WD and Harley wheels, trim tabs for go-fast boats and parts for old Brit Rovers.

Lunchbox, you care to elaborate on that "stoopid audio"? I was a stereo installer for about 3 years. My "baby" is a 91 Toyota 4x4 4cyl extended cab pickup, mild motor work, 31x10.5's, about 127k miles, aka the "5KWYota". Daily driver is a 2011 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD regular cab 4x4 6.0L gas.

Daily driver...2008 Ford Territory

Here are my rides. We are definitely car people. On the left is my daily driver, 2008 Nissan Sentra SE-R SpecV. Its basically a 200HP go-kart that gets 33mpg. I just got it a couple of months ago. On the right is my wife's 2007 Acura RDX, that thing is stupid fast for what it is, 0-60 in 6.3s.

This is my truck, every boy must have a truck in Illinois. This was my first new car, its 13yrs old now and still kicking. Its been to six different countries and never needed anything but a catalytic converter. Out of the three, this one has the stoopid audio, though its a bit outdated now.

Kenwood HU - (Eclipse DVD/Navi burned out a couple of years ago)
960W 5-channel Eclipse Amp
Eclipse 6x9 - rear
Eclipse 6.5 components - front
Eclipse Titanium 10" subwoofer

I wanna see the YOTER. I had an '85 4Runner...first year of EFI, last year of SFA...and it was ZEN. I wish I still had it.

I have a couple of Kenwood comp 10's in a box that takes up most of the rear hatch area...6" MB Quartz mid/low int he doors, and 4x6 Kenwood components in the dash. 4v Alpine head unit, an 1800w mono for the subs, and a 1200w (iirc) 4ch...all run to an external EQ. Volume goes to 50. Never made it half way. But...it's clean...sound-wise...not just a shit load of noise. My MB's in the door have just about had it, so i'm going to custom build new door panels next summer to house some new mid/lows.

Here's my daily driver

If you look closely you can see my second means of transportation in the background too....

I do have a car, but unless I'm going somewhere with free and plentiful parking, it just sits outside my apartment waiting to be broken into again.

Definitely the smartest one on this thread. I wish we had something that even remotely resembled public transportation in the St. Louis area.

And, no...it's not an old retired "vomit comet". I bought her new (2002) right off the showroom floor & it came with bucket seats, console, floor shift, mags & dual exhaust. She now has just over 50K miles - "weekend" car...

JEALOUS! Holy hell man, that thing is beautiful.

My very first ride was a 69 Mustang Convertible. Bought it when I was 14 and sold it before I ever got to really drive it. It was a project car though, nothing like your ride.
