Wow that fat pod plant must have 4 or 5 DOZEN pods on. Hot damn!
You think so?? Even after a year?

Damm man, thats a lot of pods... Sauce?

Anyway, a noobish question, there's a lot of F1, F2, F3 talk, what is that all about? Is it the generation of the cross? But why the letter F?

Thanks all, and really great pics, porn rocks ;)

thanks
how would you know or speculate which generation it is?

If you have a plant that is "pure" and it is pollinated by another plant of a different species/variety the plants from the seeds of that cross is F1. After that you just add a number for each generation:)

F1's are usually very predictable, if you cross jalapeno with habanero you get pretty much the same result every time. F2's and later can give you pretty much anything from what appears to be true habanero to what appears to be true jalapeno. So, if you have seeds from the same source and get a variety of different looking plants/pods you can be pretty sure that it is F2 or later (given that you are sure of the origin of the seeds of course, there could also have been a mixup somewhere)

Thanks Mr. So I can potentially cross a normal yellow pepper with a hab and have a giant slightly milder than hab pepper. I dream of a land with peppers the size of these:

But as hot as a Hab :)
