If you were to cut them up so they wouldn't be so deep then perhaps. Â Not sure how well it would breath in relation to geofabric though.
Those are plastic we have hundreds of those filled with coffee at work. Grow bags need to breathe so those wont work in that manner.

If you can get enough dirt id say do it! Plant some in the sides too like the topsy turvy strawbrry.
You would have to punch holes in the bottom for drainage so it would really be just a big, flexible pot.
