Pulling audio from an avi movie?

Does anyone know how to do this?
For as bad as the movie was, when the credits roll on Quarantine, there's some city sounds with sirens and such. I'd love to be able to snag a clip of that audio for use later.
 
Just about any sound recording software could do this. I use Nero Soundtrax 3 or Adobe Soundboth cs3. Nero is very easy to use and came with the suite in Nero 8 and has all types of other good software. Good for the price, but of course your still going to have to buy software.
