quick help wat does the c stand for?

if there both liquids why 2 different abbreviations

Yes, c = cup
 
c= 8 fluid ounces
3/4 cup = 6 fluid ounces

That's because 5 ounces doesn't "equal" any standard measure - it's not even 2/3 of a cup. However, given that it's a sauce, they could well have rounded up or down to the nearest standard measure.

Wait until you run into tablespoons/teaspoons. Capital T is tablespoon. Lower case t is teaspoon.
