Red Bonda Ma Jacques or something else?

I grew two Bonda Ma Jacques this year for the first time from seeds traded here. One plant put out pods that look and taste as described.
 

 
The second plant's pods start orange but ripen to red. I don't think they taste as sweet, or as hot. Although I didn't grow any this year, they kinda remind me of Caribbean Red Habanero - but larger pods than I've had in the past. Perhaps a cross or variant?

Your'e not the only one to have Bonda Ma Jacques that turn out red. All of mine did !
