well i am back and i got my new 8 bulb T-5 light here today!!! i already got it up and it works like a charm .... as you can see my PH is way down i just want it to say around there is fine for me.... you can also see things getting bigger the peppers plants are for sure basil is coming along and the cell looks good the 2 cell dont look as good as the first one.... i will be planting a few of my clones and i will doing lettuce swiss chard,green onion,basil... that might be all for now...

i am going to monitor the small scale system and see what environment that it produces and go from there.

If you install a float to do top offs remember to have a timer disconnect the water->reservoir line when you are filling the tables to prevent an overflow.

right on man i got you ... i think i will just pump in what i need no big deal....
here is what i did today .... i added a drip bucket on the net... i did not want to throw out any more pepper clones so i came up with this... it will work for now i am sure there is something better to put in there but i wanted to save a few more just in case i lose some under the 250watt MH ... i also planted Spinach,swiss chard, lettuce, green onion, basil.... well wish me luck and i will be back when i see something come out....
well i am back again i had to post a few more pics the first pic you can see the basil shot up fast and all the clones are doing great you can see that they have grown so much... also if you look at the last pics i posted you can see alot of growth .... 2 pic you can see i got like 4 swiss chard just starting to come out... the Spinach has yet to come out .... and the last pic you can see 6 Lettuce... some are kinda close togther... i might pull some out and see if i can move them around ... we will see!! over all things are looking good i had 1 fish floating again on sunday...
here is a 2 day update ... 1 pic is the 3 pepper plants i wanted to save it looks like 2 of them are doing really good and the other dont look as good but they still have flowers starting also... 2 pic you can see the flower almost ready to open up... that pepper plant is on the top grow beds... 3 pic is basil and i all most can start using the leaves!!!! they have grown so much ... pic 4 this is the swiss chard... they look ok and they are growing fast also...
back again for a update things are looking ok my 250MH bulb went out so i put up my other 250 hps now... so things should be looking good again you can see the lettuce looking good pepper plants are looking good still i added 20 more fish and i lost 4 now its been a whole week they been there ...i also did a water change i think that will help i was running some test on the water, ammonia was real high... things look better so far i will do more testing in the morning...

I have decided to put in a control box also allowing for other additives, as well as I was thinking of a NO RETURN system, drip feeding them instead.

here is a update on the aquaponics system .. i added 20 fish awhile back and i lost 15 atleast ... i think this system can only have 10-15 fish right now ... but my PH is looking good ...see pic for that... you can see the cell has growen alot i think it has around 5 new stalks... the basil has started to flower which is cool i am out of seeds i also took few leafs off and started drying them out all the lettuce has growen alot ... no peppers on any of the plants but they have flowers on them .. just a matter of time i think .. cant think of anything else to stay other than, i had a tumor on the back of my head... i just got it cut out on tues.. and everthing went well .... enjoy the pics!!!!
