Rig dragging

Ive seen the 1/4 mile with cars...involved sometimes...man ive seen bikes in action...lol lawn tractors..but this is a first to me well besides watching the movie smokey and the bandit...rig dragging...seems my buddy does it just never told me..watched a few dvds of his tonight...hell not too bad..pretty big in quebec he told me mind you quebecers know how to have fun..I have 2 pics...my buddy bombed big time...first time in the truck and first time doing it...but next year im there...wish I could show the dvds..there where rigs that beat mustang saleens and 5.0s in a 1/4 mile just blew me away...

They drag with both no trailer and with trailer....The way some of those rigs just jump up in the air at the start line they must be set with a full payload(certian weight)..kinda cool to watch

the single rear axle tractors,(single screw) even if they have air ride, without a trailer, is one hell of a bumpy ride. i can't even imagine riding in one going more than 45mph, on a smooth road.
the tractors with 2 rear axles,(twin screw) aren't bad at all, especially with air ride.
but once you are pulling a trailer, it's a different world all together. the trailer really smooths out the ride whether it's a single or double axle.
 
You should see 'em on the Pikes Peak hillclimb...

Make no mistake about it....nothing like a semi tractor sliding around a curve on a mountain road at over 90+ mph....:hell:
