Sales Tax on Ebay

Technically when I go to the corner deli and the Coke is $1 even, but if using CC, has tax... and I pay cash, I owe USE TAX. :lol: How many Coke's was that?????? ;)

Granted most people never pay it but they are supposed to - so if the vendor is not charging the state sales tax on your purchase you are supposed to pay it directly - and if you get audited after reporting that you had 0 use tax owed and they can prove you ordered products online that the tax was not paid on they can add fines and penalties for non payment of the tax - and some States are starting to look at ways to enforce it so they can get more tax revenue.
