The one plant I grew this year grew into more of a bonnet phenotype...all very smooth, 3 lobed.
I was pretty disappointed, because this is such an awesome looking pepper, but at least it tastes pretty good. It's not too hot, even milder than a bonnet, but has that strong chinense flavor. Just ate some fresh sliced on pizza tonight, ate 2 pods worth, and didn't have any lingering heat. Must be pretty mild compared to the actual SB7J.
