In growth. Is this common? I started some red & yellow bonnets, reapers, bhutlahs, red and chocolate bhuts, yellow habs, morugas, butch ts, chocolate scorps, 7 pot douglahs, and 7 pot bgs and the bonnets are growing 2-3x the rate of all the others. Same medium, same watering/nut schedule, same grow tent. They all look great. Just wish they all grew as fast as the bonnets.

Yes very common, the rate from seed to fruit is shorter than supers.Â
Thanks, I figured as much, just thought the difference would be more subtle.
Where did you get the seeds from? Some places sell Jamaican mushroom (which is an annuum) as Scotch bonnets (which are Chinense).
I got them from fresh pods I bought at the farmer's market last year along with the red & chocolate bhuts and yellow habaneros so I'm not 100% confident in their origin . All my bought seeds came from puckerbutt or refining fire.
Upon further research into pod shape, annum vs chinense growth, etc., I think you're correct, MeatHead. Time to order some real bonnet seeds, although I'll keep growing out these jamaican mushrooms. They were delicious!
