I'm getting sick and tired of the freakin' USPS, jerking me around lately. My recipient's package was supposed to be delivered yesterday. Two days ago, it was at a major city's distribution center (in their state), then, yesterday morning at 5:40am, it was in their town's local post office. Stupid me assumed it would've been delivered yesterday, like it was originally scheduled for. Nope. Of course not. I checked the tracking number again last night, and lo and behold, it's BACK at the major city's distribution center again, WITHOUT a scheduled delivery date this time. WTF?! Why?

Same thing happened a month or two ago, when I mailed Boss a box of stuff. Connecticut to Brooklyn, NY. Took 15 fucking days. Went from CT to MA, to NYC, to NJ, BACK to NYC, BACK to MA, BACK to NJ, to NYC! I could've driven it to his doorstep myself in less than 2 hours. No wonder they're close to being fucking bankrupt. Grrrrrrr.....

Just mailed my package, lets see if it can beat mikes package!

Seriously though the little post office I went to had a bunch of bags full of packages, and a couple trucks outside they were loading with Amazon packages.

Auspost is no better.
 
I ordered my gift, and on the 5th Auspost sent a text message saying it will be delivered that day.
 
Then later in the day they sent a text saying it is unlikely to be delivered that day.
 
Still not here. The tracking now says "delayed". Sounds fishy to me, other things I have ordered since that have already been delivered.
 
This is to send it less than 50kms.
 
 
I have been in contact with the shop I bought it from, and they are sending some out by courier this time. They have been great to deal with, even offered to send it overseas for me.

Hope they hit the spot.  Enjoy and have a very fiery Xmas, or Saturnalia, or Hanukkah, or Winter Solstice, or whatever you may celebrate.
 
After worry about finding hot sauces, I kept finding more.  Kept telling myself, no!  You have a dollar limit.  Which was very hard to keep to.
 
Of course the packaging and mailing cost as much as what was shipped. Would have been more, but thankfully the lady at the post office said whoa, when she saw the cost, grabbed a flat rate box, dropped my box into, pulled the labels and put them on the flat rate box.  Saved me a bunch of bucks!
 
Still surprised they got there that fast, I know other packages went out before mine.  Of course, it was suppose to be there yesterday!
