seeds seedling with no leaves

A bird or bug of some sort ate the top off of one of my Bih Jolokia seedlings
at the moment the little stem is still green but considering that it has no leaves now
will this be a certain death for this little fella?

Low chance of survival, even lower of producing this season. I'd put it out of it's misery.

I would just let it go and see what happens. What does it hurt. It dies or it grows and all it costs you is a bit of water and some light.

Yeah if it grows I'll re-pot it when it's time if it doesn't when i re-pot the others I'll ditch it.
